Concert Review: Lloyd live at the Jazz Cafe 12th March 2012 supported by Bluey Robinson

This time last week I was rushing to go and see Lloyd live at the Jazz Cafe. Its never easy to go to a concert after working all day but for certain artists I make an exception and US star Lloyd is one of them. It helped that the venue is my favourite place to see live music in London too.

My fiance Roger had booked a table for us on the balcony that overlooks the stage so we could have dinner whilst we watched the live music which is something wonderfully unique to the Jazz Cafe. It also helps that the food is very tasty, New Orleans in style, and the staff are friendly too.

It soon became clear that coming out on a Monday night was well worth it as not only was the main act a lot of fun but the warm up act, British singer Bluey Robinson, blew us away with his pure talent.

He was also down-to-earth enough to stop and pose for photographs with people as he returned to the dressing room after performing. I was lucky enough to get this picture below taken of Bluey and I by Roger.

Now on with the main review which will be supported by live videos taken by Roger from his YouTube page.
